Research/Teaching Assistant (m/f/d) (75%)

The Institute of Accounting, Auditing and Analysis (Prof. Dr. Thorsten Sellhorn) of the Munich School of Management is looking for qualified

Doctoral Students (75% part-time work as research/teaching assistant at salary level TV-L E 13).

The position is initially limited to three years but includes an option for contract extension to enable successful completion of the doctoral dissertation as an integral part of the position.

Your Tasks
First and foremost, you will be working on producing a scientifically rigorous and societally relevant doctoral dissertation, typically consisting of three research papers. Your doctoral research is expected to contribute to the DFG-funded TRR 266 Accounting for Transparency, of which our Institute is a part (projects A07 and B04). As a research and teaching assistant, you will support the Institute in our research, teaching and admin tasks, and supervise student assistants.

Participating Institutions

TRR 266‘s main locations are Paderborn University (Coordinating University), HU Berlin, and University of Mannheim. All three locations have been centers for accounting and tax research for many years. They are joined by researchers from LMU Munich, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, ESMT Berlin and Goethe University Frankfurt who share the same research agenda.
