Communicating Transparency

With the CRC, not only do we contribute to research on transparency in accounting, but we also aim to publicize the work more broadly. Communicating Transparency (C03) makes the outcomes of the CRC accessible, easy to understand, and thus transparent for a diverse audience (regulators, policymakers, firms, stakeholders, the scientific community, and the general public). The project uses a broad mix of carefully selected communication channels, such as blogs, social media, outreach events, and visualizations. Additionally, it identifies cluster topics on which to focus communication. Beyond these communication services, the C03 team is dedicated to enabling the CRC researchers with trainings and service materials to independently communicate their findings to a nonscientific audience. All activities of C03 are regularly evaluated based on a comprehensive quality assurance concept.
