TRR 266 Annual Conference 2023

The Annual Conference of TRR 266 “Accounting for Transparency” hosted by the University of Mannheim from November 22nd to 24th unlocked insights and fostered collaborations among researchers in the field of Taxation and Accounting. Notable highlights of the event were seen in the Female Mentoring Workshop “Strategic Visibility” and the Job Market Candidate Sessions providing tremendous insights to early career researchers on their career journey.  Researchers also took the stage to share and discuss relevant topics on sustainability, tax complexity and Accounting fraud. The keynote speech by Gaizka Ormazabal from IESE Business School  “The Role of Accounting Research in the Transition Toward a More Sustainable Economy” left participants with new ideas to ponder on.

 

 

Participating Institutions

TRR 266‘s main locations are Paderborn University (Coordinating University), HU Berlin, and University of Mannheim. All three locations have been centers for accounting and tax research for many years. They are joined by researchers from LMU Munich, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Goethe University Frankfurt, University of Cologne and Leibniz University Hannover who share the same research agenda.
