Caren Sureth-Sloane elected Vice President of the German Research Foundation (DFG)
Professor Caren Sureth-Sloane, spokesperson of the Collaborative Research Centre TRR 266 Accounting for Transparency, has been elected Vice President of the German Research Foundation (DFG). Sureth-Sloane holds the chair of Business Administration, especially Business Taxation, at Paderborn University. She served as a member of the DFG Review Board “Economics” from 2020 to 2021 and is member of the DFG Senate. She also was part of the interdisciplinary DFG Commission for Pandemic Research. Within the TRR 266 she focuses her work on tax complexity, investment effects of taxation, tax transparency, science communication and the effects of structured collaborative research environments on early stage researchers.
The TRR 266 warmly congratulates her on this important appointment. It is a pleasure to see her tremendous work and long-standing dedication to research and academia recognized in this way.
