Kay Blaufus is Professor of Business Taxation at Leibniz Universität Hannover (LUH). His research focuses on the economic analysis of taxes from a behavioral economics perspective. This includes topics such as tax compliance, tax enforcement, and the optimal design of tax incentives. His work has been published in leading journals such as Accounting, Organizations & Society, Contemporary Accounting Research, European Accounting Review, and Management Science. He is Chairman of the Academic Commission “Business Taxation” of the German Academic Association for Business Research (VHB) and board member of arqus, working group quantitative business taxation. In addition, he is member of the editorial board of Behavioral Research in Accounting, European Accounting Review, and the Journal of Business Economics.
